A
group of English-speaking women from the Gush
Etzion region choose to cope with the
distressing events of the Al-Akhsa Intifada by
making a musical. They write, compose, direct,
sing and dance the story of Esther, based on the
famous scroll which is read out on the festival
of Purim. Each of the women's individual sparkle
and life-force is brought to the fore, as events
in their personal lives intrude upon their
artistic endeavors. |
